Overview

This internship supports the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Thailand, facilitating dialogues with partners to improve development assistance policies and practice.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in drafting and preparing official documents and correspondence.
• Develop presentations for RCO meetings and external engagements.
• Produce minutes and summary reports from conferences and meetings.
• Assist in the logistical and administrative preparations for RCO events.
• Support social media outreach and communication efforts.
• Support other ad hoc activities as deemed relevant and needed by the supervisor.

Experience Requirements

No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.

Qualification Requirements

• Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or,
• Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent).

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: Fluency in Thai is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality: reporting for work in the office with the possibility of remote work arrangements

Remuneration: The internship is UNPAID. Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
