International Individual Contractor: Editor – university modules on anti-corruption

Overview

The purpose of this assignment is to proofread and edit three university modules on anti-corruption.

Tasks Summary

• Edit and proofread three draft university modules on anti-corruption, in line with UN editorial guidelines (each module approx. 60 pages).
• Provide UNODC access to intermediate products under the individual contract arrangement.
• Support all expertise provided with related documentation, as well as a clear indication of sources/source materials.

Experience Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of professional experience in writing, editing, proofreading and publishing is required;
• A professional training in journalism or editing is required;
• Experience in working with the United Nations Editorial Guidelines is required;
• Experience in writing or editing documents for the United Nations, preferably on topics related to the purpose of the assignment, is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• University studies in languages, humanities, international relations or related discipline are desirable.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in oral and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Contract Duration: From 9 March to 17 April 2026 (13 working days in total)
