Overview
Provide technical supervision, mentoring, and support for rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities, contributing to tracking intervention effectiveness and ensuring service quality and consistency.
Tasks Summary
- Assist CBRCs in designing action plans, guidelines, and toolkits to mainstream disability inclusion.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on disability inclusion.
- Support organizational change within CBRCs by helping leadership, HR, operations, and program teams understand disability rights and embed them into daily work.
- Serve as a bridge between CBRCs, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), and other human rights institutions.
- Support the establishment of accountability mechanisms.
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations.
- Ensure that all inclusion efforts align with recognized international standards.
- Evaluate outcome measurement tools used in rehabilitation services.
- Conduct field-level reviews and interviews with persons with disabilities.
- Analyze data and identify gaps in achieving intervention goals.
- Provide recommendations to improve rehabilitation approaches and further address capacity gaps.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing observations, findings, and recommendations.
- Submit a final summary report including the strengthened capacity of CBRCs and project implementation.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in rehabilitation, including intervention planning, supervision, and outcome measurement.
- Experience of rehabilitation services in support of persons with complex and multiple disabilities.
- Proven experience in evaluating rehabilitation effectiveness, especially in community or community-based programs.
- Experience in Human rights frameworks for persons with disabilities (CRPD).
- Experience providing technical coaching to multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong report writing, communication, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to travel to project provinces as required.
- Prior experience of collaborating with UN agencies is a plus.
Qualification Requirements
• Specialists with master’s degree in Rehabilitation, Public Health, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or social work.
