Customs Functional Consultant

Overview

The consultant will provide functional advice in testing and piloting a new digital platform for ASYCUDA, contributing to the mapping of the platform to regional requirements.

Tasks Summary

• Providing functional advice in testing and piloting new digital platform.
• Monitoring of the pilot version of the export declaration.
• Monitoring of the pilot version of the internal transit declaration.
• Monitoring of the pilot version of the import declaration.
• Documenting identified problems and recommendations.
• Providing regular inputs to project status reports and updates.

Experience Requirements

At least 7 years of work experience in trade, investment or customs sector is required. Work experience of work in customs administration, revenue authority or trade support institution, or international organisation would be an advantage. Combination of IT and Customs experience would be a strong advantage.

Qualification Requirements

A first university degree, Bachelor, degree in Customs, business administration, law, economics or related area is required.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency written and oral in English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of Russian and local languages of the CIS region would be an advantage
