The Project Intern will support the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Brazil with tasks related to its thematic areas, including translation, report assistance, research, and database construction.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work. experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Previous internship experience in International Organizations or government is desirable.
Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and English is required for the internship.
Languages Preferred: Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Modality: Remote Part-time
Remuneration: The internship is UNPAID and interns work five days per week (part time - 20 hours). Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
