Overview

Provide technical expertise and project management support to facilitate the implementation and development of greenhouse related initiatives.

Tasks Summary
  • Oversee project planning, selection of sub-contractors and beneficiaries, organize training sessions, coordinate delivery and installation of greenhouses, including seeds and seedlings.
  • Facilitate cooperation among project beneficiaries, support development of informal cooperation schemes and clusters.
  • Organize post-installation mentorship and training sessions, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop actionable plans for future phases.
  • Monitor project progress, gather feedback, and refine strategies.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and operation of greenhouse initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive project implementation strategies.
  • Prepare user-friendly printed and video manuals for greenhouse installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Support outreach and awareness-raising activities.
  • Design and implement an inclusive and transparent beneficiary selection process.
  • Organize and deliver agricultural and business training sessions.
  • Contribute to the procurement process for greenhouse-related service providers and suppliers.
  • Supervise greenhouse installation and initial operations.
  • Facilitate cooperation and knowledge-sharing among beneficiaries.
  • Support knowledge building, knowledge sharing and capacity building relevant to the project.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with beneficiaries, authorities, service providers, and project team members.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress against planned timelines, budgets, and outputs; identify risks and challenges and propose mitigation measures.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc progress updates and reports.
  • Provide logistical and organizational support for project activities.
Experience Requirements
  • Applicants with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience.
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in project implementation and business development.
Qualification Requirements
  • Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Adminsitration or other related fields is required, or
  • A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with 2 additional years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of Master’s degree.
