Technical Specialist (Digital Experience Designer) Consultant, Stockholm, Sweden, Office of Innovation, 12 months

Overview

Provide technical design support to the Solutions team within the Office of Innovation and across UNICEF, focusing on digital experience design for early-stage initiatives and prototypes.

Tasks Summary

• Providing design technical guidance, support and mentorship to Venture Fund-supported teams and UNICEF teams.
• Supporting the design, development and rollout of early-stage digital initiatives, prototypes and MVPs, including UX/UI design and visual communication.
• Working with stakeholders to implement design support, including facilitating design sprints and workshops, and supporting Human-Centered Design knowledge management.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience in UX/UI product design, HCD & Visual experience.
• Experience in user experience and interaction design, research and consultation for web-based designs, apps, and data information systems, information architecture and systems mapping design.
• Strong understanding of design systems and front-end architecture.
• Experience in creating interactive prototypes in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.
• Experience in generating user requirements, personas, storyboards, journey maps, and use case scenarios.

Qualification Requirements

An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in interaction design, product design, human-computer interaction, information design and information architecture or other relevant field. *A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

Contract Duration: 12 months
