Overview

The National Programme Support Officer provides technical, administrative, and logistical support for project development, donor reporting, resource mobilization, and partnerships within the IOM Denmark Country Office.

Tasks Summary
  • Identify funding opportunities and collect donor information.
  • Draft donor profiles and guidance notes.
  • Contribute to programme and project development by drafting and reviewing concept notes and proposals.
  • Coordinate endorsement processes for project documents.
  • Provide support for drafting donor agreements.
  • Maintain records of correspondences and project development files.
  • Contribute to information management, including awareness raising and visibility materials.
  • Draft briefing notes, talking points, and statistics.
  • Oversee reporting schedules for Danish-funded projects.
  • Support capacity building and training activities.
  • Coordinate the elaboration and dissemination of reports for donors and stakeholders.
  • Support liaison and coordination with government entities and other stakeholders.
  • Provide supervisory support for the Resettlement programme and other activities.
  • Act as an entry point for coordination of IOM DK contributions to institutional exercises.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience in migration management, project design and management, including implementation, administrative and financial management.
  • Proven ability in fundraising and public relations.
  • Experience in liaising with government authorities, UN agencies, institutions, and think tanks.
  • Ability to supervise staff and coordinate administrative activities.
  • Work experience in Denmark on migration, in partnerships with relevant actors.
Qualification Requirements
  • Master’s degree preferably in Political or Social Science, International Relations from an accredited academic institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Political Social Science, International Relations from an accredited academic institution.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in Danish and English is required (oral and written).
