Overview
Support the implementation of internal communication strategies for UNEP, reaching over 3,000 personnel globally. The role involves managing virtual and in-person events, developing promotional materials, and producing content for internal communication platforms.
Tasks Summary
- Plan and implement content and activities against the internal communication strategy.
- Implement, monitor, and revise an internal communication strategy for UNEP.
- Support the planning and execution of communications-related events.
- Support the coordination of communication mandates and activities between UNEP and the rest of the UN system.
- Support newsletter work related to defined audiences.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of three years of work experience in public media &/or mass communications for an organization or related area is required.
- Experience in internal communication for an organization is desirable.
- Experience in managing online, hybrid, and in-person internal communication activities (including events) across locations and time zones is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, information studies, human resources, or a related field is required.
