Overview

The role of Administrative Support Agent involves assisting in the preparation of administrative steps for antitrust cases, monitoring deadlines, managing case files, organizing meetings, and communicating with third parties. The role also includes various administrative tasks and potentially secretariat work.

Tasks Summary
  • Assists in preparing administrative steps for antitrust cases.
  • Monitors deadlines and workflow in antitrust cases.
  • Creates and administers case-related documents.
  • Manages electronic case files using the case management application.
  • Organizes meetings with external actors.
  • Communicates orally and in writing with third parties and other Commission services.
  • Carries out administrative tasks such as diary-keeping, filtering telephone calls, translation requests, and making travel arrangements.
  • May perform secretariat work to support the day-to-day business of the unit(s).
Experience Requirements
Qualification Requirements
  • A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma, OR
  • A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years.
Other Details

Languages Required: • A thorough knowledge (minimum level C1) of one of the 24 official languages of the EU • AND a satisfactory knowledge (minimum level B2) of a second official language of the EU, to the extent necessary for the performance of the duties.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of other Community languages would be an advantage.

Contract Duration: The duration of the 1st contract will be up to 4 years. The contract might then be extended only once for a maximum of 2 years.

Work Modality: possibility of teleworking

Remuneration: The pay of staff members consists of a basic salary supplemented with specific allowances, including, where applicable, expatriation and family allowances.
