Overview
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation support to staff, visitors, and project-related activities. This role ensures the proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of assigned vehicles while strictly adhering to organizational policies, traffic regulations, and safety protocols.
Tasks Summary
- Renders driving service to the organization.
- Ensures assigned vehicle is clean and in good running condition.
- Ensures assigned vehicle is equipped with required repair kits, tools, spare tires, medical kits, flashlight, and cell phone charger.
- Exercises due diligence in driving the vehicle at a safe speed.
- Complies with traffic regulations.
- Loads passenger and parks vehicle at appropriate areas.
- Facilitates routine vehicle maintenance, check-up, minor repairs, cleaning, and washing of vehicles.
- Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.
- Maintains a repair and maintenance record of assigned vehicle.
- Refuels the vehicle at the end of the working day.
- Ensures availability of required documents inside the vehicle.
- Records travel itinerary per vehicle request served.
- Secures the vehicle assigned fleet card during travel.
- Keeps and files all fleet card transaction slips.
- Conducts regular inventory of spare repair kits, tools, spare tires, cellular phone charger, and medical kits.
- Contributes to the orderly filing of transport files.
Experience Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience in an NGO setting or company in Luzon Island
Qualification Requirements
Must have a valid driving license
