Overview
Promote DRC's mission, mandate, work, and communication strategies across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe (MEAE) Hub. This role involves working closely with programme teams to communicate DRC's work to relevant parties and ensuring all DRC’s material is well designed.
Tasks Summary
- Elaborate graphics and assist with the design and layout of reports and publications.
- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of communication and visibility strategy.
- Collect material and gather information to produce communication content.
- Support project managers in developing and implementing communication and visibility plans.
- Create engaging social media content.
- Support the development and production of project-related visibility materials.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on communication guidelines and visual identity.
- Prepare and translate press releases, agendas, and minutes of meetings.
- Capture high-quality stories, photos and videos at various events and activities.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working in graphic design, communications and social media management.
- Experience working in an NGO is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the Middle East, Asia, or Europe is an advantage.
Qualification Requirements
• University Degree in graphic design, communication, journalism, or a similar field, or an equivalent professional qualification
