Overview

Provides substantive and administrative support to senior management and coordinates corporate-wide change management projects. Contributes to the preparation of written outputs and undertakes research and data collection.

Tasks Summary
  • Provides substantive and administrative support to the Director of CSD and Head of ORMU.
  • Provides coordination support to corporate-wide change management projects.
  • Support the Divisional efforts to develop and implement strategies to achieve greater efficiency gains.
  • Reviews and analyzes information from the various functional areas and summarizes for reporting.
  • Assists in performing special projects assignments.
  • Contributes to the preparation of various written outputs.
  • Undertakes research and data collection activities.
  • Provides substantive support and coordinates activities related to management committees and taskforces.
  • Supervises support staff as required.
  • Contributes to the collection and analysis of data and provides draft insights.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Experience Requirements

A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in project/programme management, administration or related area is required. Experience in supporting process redesign/simplification and workflow optimization, including the establishment of KPIs across administrative functions, is required. Experience coordinating inputs for senior management and Member State reporting across administrative areas, including HR, resource mobilization, finance, and oversight functions, is required. Experience working with international organizations and environmental-related issues is desirable. Experience working with client-service delivery frameworks, including user feedback mechanisms, service quality monitoring, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) oversight, is desirable. Experience in drafting or refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidance materials, and process documentation to support integrated service delivery is desirable. One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, environment studies, sustainable development, law or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is an advantage.
