Overview
The Remuneration Specialist provides support and administrative services impacting the organization's operational response. This role is responsible for setting (re)hiring salaries in adherence to compensation policies and coordinating remuneration-related concerns.
Tasks Summary
- Supports the Team Leader in daily operations through case management and expertise in resolving issues.
- Supports the Team Leader in projects by contributing to impact analysis of changes.
- Coordinates remuneration-related concerns and activities of deployment with all stakeholders.
- Analyzes and provides suggestions, feedback, and best practices to the Centre of Expertise for Rewards.
- Identifies and utilizes appropriate escalation and communication channels.
- Collects required information to determine the total salary package and enters it into the HRIS tool.
- Calculates (re)hiring salaries for Field and HQ mobile employees.
- Informs Field mobile employees of their options for hardship incentives.
- Enters data in the HRIS tool and ensures replication in the payroll software.
- Ensures annual salary reviews are applied.
- Ensures changes in position grading, hardship categories, and cost-of-living rate are reflected in salaries.
- Performs peer-to-peer validation of all remuneration-related activities.
- Responds to complex questions from employees and other HR functions about entitlements.
Experience Requirements
- Typically 3-5 years' professional experience.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a shared services environment.
- Proven experience in HR administration, mainly in tasks related to their function.
- Knowledge of and experience in HR services, including workflows, processes and key performance indicators.
Qualification Requirements
• University Degree in Human Resource Management, Administration, Information Systems or equivalent.
