Overview

Support partnership activities related to the Samsung Global Goals app and Generation17 initiative, focusing on data collection, communication content development, and digital asset creation.

Tasks Summary
  • Assist with the call for application of the new Generation17 cohort, including form development, data collection, filtration, and organization.
  • Develop communication content in English and provide translation, when needed.
  • Develop high-quality visual materials, including PowerPoint presentations and structured Excel sheets for data organization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Youth Engagement Coordinator to create the Monthly Opportunities Digest for the young leaders.
  • Work closely with the Youth Engagement Coordinator to identify engagement opportunities for Generation17 young leaders.
  • Support updates to website content related to Generation17.
  • Identify and collect videos published across UNDP’s regional channels for the 2026 Samsung Global Goals app content update.
  • Update the fact and figures section of the Samsung Global Goals App ensuring relevance and engagement
  • Identify and collect blogs and stories published across UNDP’s central and regional channels for the 2026 Samsung Global Goals app content update.
  • Develop social media copy and visual assets for #Generation17 and Samsung Global Goals App initiatives.
Experience Requirements
  • Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the programme, however, candidates with the following skills are encouraged to apply:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Write compelling and relevant content, storylines, social media copy, etc.
  • Experience in reviewing, proofreading, and editing proposals/decks.
Qualification Requirements
  • Applicants to UNDP internships must, at the time of application, meet one of the following academic requirements: (a)Be enrolled in any relevant graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) to fit the position; (b)Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); (c)Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
  • A Certification must be obtained from school regarding status of enrollment or graduation.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Candidate must be fluent in English.

Languages Preferred: • Spanish and/ or French are desired language skills. Other UN languages are welcomed.

Contract Duration: 8-10 weeks
