Tasks Summary
- Design, develop and deliver a comprehensive technical training module on climate change reporting for media professionals.
- Develop a technical module on Climate Change reporting.
- Deliver 2 x 1.5-day training workshops to media on Climate change reporting.
- Submit an inception report and work plan.
- Develop a comprehensive training curriculum and module framework.
- Create a complete training package (manual, presentations, tools).
- Facilitate training workshops.
- Submit a final training and evaluation report.
- Provide sustainability and capacity-building recommendations.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in:
- Climate change, environmental journalism, or climate advocacy;
- Designing and delivering training programmes.
- Developing technical training modules and materials.
- Strong expertise in climate change, climate adaptation, and resilience programming.
- Working with international organizations, UN agencies, NGOs, or development partners.
- Prior experience in Timor-Leste or the Asia-Pacific region is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
• Master's degree in Journalism, Communication, Environmental Studies, Climate Science, Development Studies, Public Policy or a related field.
