Overview

Provides programme coordination and process support for the Caribbean Multi-Country Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (MSDCF) process in Belize.

Tasks Summary
  • Support the overall coordination and implementation of the MSDCF design, review, and consultation process.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating MSDCF-related meetings, consultations, and workshops.
  • Develop detailed process plans, timelines, and tracking tools.
  • Organize logistical and substantive preparations for MSDCF consultations and workshops.
  • Draft agendas, concept notes, methodologies, facilitation guides, and templates.
  • Support the application of inclusive, participatory, and results-oriented consultation methodologies.
  • Prepare high-quality summary notes, meeting reports, and consultation briefs.
  • Maintain organized records of MSDCF related documentation.
  • Support consolidation of feedback and inputs into MSDCF drafts.
  • Provide quality assurance support to government and UN agency inputs.
  • Support review of draft MSDCF documents.
  • Assist in aligning national inputs with regional MSDCF priorities.
  • Support the development of the indicator framework.
  • Serve as a focal support point for communication with government counterparts.
  • Coordinate closely with UN agencies, the MSDCF consultant, and the Regional Coordination Specialist.
  • Support preparation of briefings, updates, and presentations.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the RCO.
  • Prepare regular updates to the Heads of RCOs.
  • Prepare background materials, progress notes and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Contribute to internal reporting, timelines, and dashboards.
Experience Requirements
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in UN coordination processes, development planning, or partnership building.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with experience supporting meetings, consultations, and multi-stakeholder processes.
  • Excellent writing and synthesis skills, with experience preparing meeting summaries, reports, and briefing notes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with government counterparts, UN agencies, and consultants.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in standard office and collaboration tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Previous volunteer experience or experience working in multicultural environments is an asset.
  • Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (data sources, baselines, indicators and targets) is desirable.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Public Policy, Programme Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
