Overview

Project Officers provide support to projects and workstreams, applying project management and data analytics skills to help deliver on key projects and initiatives. Initially, the Project Officer will support the TEVV (Testing, Evaluation, Verification, Validation) Team.

Tasks Summary
  • Develop and maintain structured, repeatable processes for collecting, validating, storing, and managing data related to DIANA’s Test Centre Network.
  • Shape and maintain standardized onboarding procedures for new Test Centres.
  • Manage the TEVV CRM, including Test Centre profiles and the full TEVV documentation pipeline.
  • Contribute to the design and refinement of the innovator application process and support the facilitation of the grant committee review cycle.
  • Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for TEVV-related activities.
  • Monitor TEVV processes, pathways, and infrastructure; identify improvement opportunities; and document lessons learned.
  • Prepare contingency plans to address issues affecting TEVV information management.
  • Aggregate and analyse programme performance data, reporting risks, milestones, and insights to the DX.
  • Support other DIANA initiatives and projects as required.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in roles involving data management, digital operations, project coordination, or information governance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience applying project management methodologies.
  • Experience producing data-driven reports, dashboards, or performance summaries and presenting recommendations and findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders in a multi-national environment.
  • Experience collaborating with NATO bodies, national defence organisations, military programmes, or government research agencies (desirable).
  • Experience administering or supporting grant calls, proposal evaluations, or funding review panels (desirable).
  • Experience working in a lab, test range, accelerator, or innovation programme (desirable).
Qualification Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognised/certified university in a relevant field.
  • Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated with a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in duties related to the function of the post.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one; and I (“Beginner”) in the other.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: • A definite duration contract of three years, which may be followed by an extension. • If the successful applicant is seconded from the national administration of one of NATO’s member States, a 3-year definite duration contract will be offered, which may be renewed for a further period of up to 3 years subject to the agreement of the national authority concerned. The maximum period of service in the post as a seconded staff member is six years.

Work Modality: • Flexible teleworking policy to permit working in office, at home, and across NATO Allied Nations subject to managerial approval.

Remuneration: • 9,820.40 Canadian Dollar (CAD) Monthly
