Overview
Responsible for leading and coordinating procurement activities at the Country Office level in compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements. The role oversees procurement planning, documentation management, vendor coordination, and contract compliance.
Tasks Summary
- Lead and monitor ongoing and foreseen procurement in line with NRC’s SOP and Logistics Handbook.
- Review Contract, Purchase Order, Payment and relevant verification to ensure compliance.
- Monitor NRC’s procurement archive to ensure all required supporting documents are properly recorded for audit purposes.
- Develop Projects Procurement Plans and ensure PPPs are implemented efficiently.
- Submit monthly Logistics KPIs report to the Logistics Manager.
- Coordinate with other divisions to ensure required procurement is smoothly proceeded.
- Support on and develop relevant logistics training including coaching of staff and partners.
- Supervise the preparation of documentation for bid committee meetings and provide technical advice.
- Develop a usable vendor list in accordance with NRC requirements.
- Run the counter terrorism check for suppliers.
Experience Requirements
- Experience from working as a Logistic Coordinator (or senior officer) preferably in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Experience of working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Experience of data collection, analysis and report writing
- Knowledge of market analysis tools and approaches
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
- Experience in development of internal process is an asset
