Overview

Provide analytical support to project administration for assigned projects and coordinate activities for project processing, mainly within the Human and Social Development Sector Office.

Tasks Summary
  • Provide support in project/technical assistance (TA) implementation, administration and portfolio monitoring.
  • Monitor physical and financial progress, outputs and deliverables.
  • Follow up submission of project reports and financial statements.
  • Communicate with and assist executing agencies to facilitate disbursements.
  • Monitor project compliance and covenants.
  • Maintain related documents, records and files.
  • Participate in missions for assigned projects as requested.
  • Provide procurement and consulting services recruitment support.
  • Review procurement/consultant recruitment-related submissions from executing agencies.
  • Assist supervisors to prepare consultant recruitment-related documents for TAs.
  • Address enquiries of executing agencies.
  • Coordinate and communicate with ADB departments/offices related to procurement and recruitment.
  • Provide reporting and documentation support for project/TA monitoring.
  • Support in project/TA processing.
  • Assist in the preparation of project/TA approval documents.
  • Provide necessary data for preparing project/TA approval documents.
  • Manage time for project/TA processing to ensure approvals.
  • Prepare and arrange for meetings at each stage of project/TA processing.
  • Assist supervisor's quality assurance of project/TA processing documents.
  • Ensure compliance with project/TA processing requirements of ADB and CWRD.
  • Arrange travel and meetings of supervisors.
  • Prepare documents, conduct internal and external communications and coordination.
  • File, record, and provide any other support as needed by supervisors.
  • Perform any other duties as may be required and reflected in the incumbent's work plan.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting the processing and implementation of development aid projects and technical assistance.
  • Knowledge of procurement, consultant recruitment, and disbursement processes.
  • Experience in portfolio monitoring and data analysis.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, human development, engineering or other related fields.

Other Details

Languages Required: Excellent skills in written and verbal English and Kyrgyz communications.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: initially for a period of up to 3 years
