Overview
The Administrative Assistant (Protocol) provides routine administrative functions to support protocol services within the FAO Representation, ensuring efficient and timely administrative actions and specialized processes.
Tasks Summary
- Liaise with Host Country Government entities for protocol matters.
- Assist staff with visa, resident permit, and diplomatic identification processing.
- Manage Airport Protocol Operations, including lounge bookings and greetings.
- Arrange airport transfers and support customs/immigration procedures.
- Issue protocol routine correspondence.
- Process annual requests for airport passes for senior staff.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Experience Requirements
- Two years of relevant experience in Administration and Protocol support services.
- Work experience in more than one location or area of work.
- Experience in Nigerian Visa policies and procedures, and Nigerian customs regulations.
- Experience working with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Qualification Requirements
• University degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Management, or other related fields.
