Overview
Deliver Adaptive Social Protection (ASP) trainings for social protection officers and relevant stakeholders in Uzbekistan. The role involves training delivery, learning assessment, and coordination to enhance the capacity of the social protection system to adapt and respond to shocks.
Tasks Summary
- Participate in familiarization/walk-through sessions on ASP training modules and materials.
- Participate in pilot presentations of draft training materials and provide feedback.
- Deliver 3-day ASP trainings using participatory and interactive methods.
- Support delivery of specific training modules.
- Coordinate delivery with master trainers.
- Administer pre- and post-training evaluations and compile results.
- Collect participant feedback and propose improvements.
- Coordinate with UNICEF, NASP focal points, and the core training team.
- Prepare session completion notes and a brief report per location delivered.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in social protection and/or training facilitation.
- Demonstrated experience in adult learning and facilitation using interactive methods.
- Familiarity with Uzbekistan social protection context, including INSON centres, is an asset.
- Ability to travel domestically to training locations.
Qualification Requirements
• University degree in social policy, economics, public administration, social sciences, climate adaptation/DRR, or related fields.
