Overview

Provide transversal support to WFP's Partnerships and Reporting functions, contributing to administrative, logistical, and technical tasks to facilitate daily operations and increase WFP's positioning and resource mobilization.

Tasks Summary
  • Identify opportunities for work and partnerships, and new sources of funding.
  • Propose and implement work plans for consolidating alliances with donors/partners.
  • Coordinate and/or build proposals for donors/partners.
  • Build and keep updated a directory and map of relevant actors, donors/partners.
  • Analyze forecasts and trends, update donor/partner information, and communicate potential risks.
  • Prepare documents, notes, presentations, and official communications, and support their review and editing.
  • Analyze and systematize documents, inputs, and basic reports.
  • Follow up on commitments with partners/donors.
  • Support the follow-up of the Partnerships Unit's work plan.
  • Consolidate and organize information to support report preparation.
  • Coordinate logistical and operational aspects for meetings and visits.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external teams.
  • Incorporate gender, protection, and cultural relevance approaches.
  • Support the drafting of reports and updates to and about donors and partners.
  • Identify, prepare for, and plan opportunities for strategic engagement in national, regional, or international forums.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Support the Unit's emergency response activities, potentially deploying to affected countries and working beyond regular hours.
Experience Requirements

Minimum six (6) years of professional experience in administrative, technical, or project support, preferably in issues related to national and international cooperation, alliance management, report preparation, information analysis, or work with government entities and/or the private sector. Experience in document preparation, logistical support and coordination of activities in social or humanitarian projects will be an asset. Knowledge in the use of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.

Qualification Requirements

Completion of secondary education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.
