Overview
Supports the coordination and implementation of socioeconomic integration projects in Rio de Janeiro, contributing to the economic inclusion of migrants. The role involves coordinating operational, administrative and financial aspects of projects, monitoring implementation, and liaising with partners.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in the coordination and monitoring of operational, administrative and financial aspects of the project.
- Keep supervisor informed on project implementation status, identify gaps and suggest actions.
- Participate in the development and adjustment of work plans, project budgets, M&E tools and SOPs.
- Coordinate data collection, verification and analysis; update information management systems and social media.
- Coordinate timely preparation and dissemination of project reports.
- Liaise and coordinate with donors, partners, UN agencies, local authorities and government counterparts.
- Contribute to planning, development, organization and delivery of capacity building activities.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, working groups and interagency coordination meetings.
- Participate in the preparation of project proposals and communication products.
- Supervise and provide training and technical guidance to project staff.
- Undertake duty travel relating to project implementation, monitoring visits, assessments, and liaison.
Experience Requirements
- Two years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in social and economic integration projects in partnership with government, civil society, UN and private sector actors.
- Experience implementing and monitoring social and economic integration projects in partnership with government, civil society, UN, or private sector actors.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain strong working relations with relevant government counterparts, civil society, international organizations and private sector entities.
- Field experience related to migration, refugees and stateless population.
- Experience performing administrative tasks.
- Experience with project reporting.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
- Master’s degree in the above-mentioned fields.
