Partnerships Officer

Overview

The UNV Partnerships Officer will contribute to expanding UNICEF Türkiye Country Office's network of key interlocutors and building stronger relationships with the business community in Türkiye.

Tasks Summary

• Contribute to outreach and networking with potential partners in the local Turkish market.
• Support the processing of due diligence requirements for potential private partners.
• Contribute to coordinating meetings between Senior Management and contacts in Turkish private sector companies.
• Contribute to coordinating with programme sections to ensure alignment of partnership opportunities with programme priorities.
• Contribute to coordinating with National Committees globally to provide necessary information for pitching TCO’s programmes.
• Support organizing events, including field trips, launch events and trainings.
• Contribute to preparation and execution of partnerships meetings.
• Contribute to maintaining a knowledge base of current and prospective private sector partners up to date.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience is required.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: private sector fundraising, resource mobilization, and external relations.
• Experience and deep knowledge in Turkish business ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Having private sector networks and knowledge of innovative financing instruments is an asset.
• Experience working in the UN or other international development organizations is an asset.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in social sciences; including business administration, international relations, international development, public relations, political science, or another related field is required.

Remuneration: • Current Monthly Living Allowance (MLA) is USD 1,614 (paid in Turkish Lira) • Private insurance: Health, dental, life, and dismemberment (coverage by CIGNA) • Entry allowance: USD 400 • Exit allowance: USD 134 per month and upon the satisfactory completion of assignment • Annual leave: 2.5 days accrued per calendar month
