Overview
Support the Climate Change and Environment Programme Unit in data collection, stakeholder engagement, and communication material development for the GEF-7 Global Biodiversity Framework Early Action Support Project.
Tasks Summary
- Support baseline data collection, conduct interviews, draft minutes and reports.
- Support stakeholder mapping.
- Assist in preparing materials for stakeholder consultations and capacity-building workshops.
- Document key insights from community engagement sessions and expert discussions.
- Support the development of communication material.
- Manage the calendar of various meetings.
- Prepare logistics for field missions.
- Assist in organizing workshops, and consultation meetings.
- Any other duties as required by the office.
- Support with the Monitoring and Evaluation of the project.
Experience Requirements
- 1 month
- One year of relevant experience in administration, logistics, and stakeholder coordination for programme and recruitment workflows.
- Skilled in data collection, interviews, drafting reports, and documenting key insights from meetings and consultations.
- Experienced in organizing workshops, managing calendars, supporting field mission logistics, and preparing meeting materials.
- Strong communication abilities, including preparing infographics, fact sheets, baseline stories, and clear written summaries.
- Background in monitoring and tracking activities, ensuring accurate follow‑up, timely updates, and organized documentation.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, Socio Economics or any closely related course
