Risk and Compliance Manager Syria Damascus AO2

Overview

NRC Syria is seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to establish and oversee the Risk Management and Compliance Unit. The role will ensure adherence to NRC policies, procedures, and donor regulations, lead enterprise risk management, and coordinate audits and investigations.

Tasks Summary

• Ensuring compliance and adherence of all departments on NRC policy and procedures and donor regulations
• Leading on NRC’s enterprise risk management process
• Overseeing and coordinating internal and external audits
• Supporting investigations, anti-corruption framework and related activities

Experience Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience working in compliance, auditing or risk management functions or working as senior manager in a support function (Finance, logistics, HR), of which 3 years should be manager experience in the humanitarian sector. Experience in compliance, audit, finance, risk management, in the private sector is also valuable.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant university field (economics, public administration and similar) preferably Internal Audit or Quality Assurance qualification. Master's degree is an added value.
