Overview

The consultancy aims to develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy to increase awareness and adoption of sustainable alternatives for HFC reduction, positioning the Ozone Unit as a national reference.

Tasks Summary
  • Conducting an audience study and categorization of stakeholders.
  • Developing key messages and a unifying communication concept.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of a multi-channel awareness campaign.
  • Proposing and implementing a brand positioning strategy.
  • Designing and applying tools and indicators to monitor and evaluate impact.
  • Preparing periodic progress reports.
  • Delivering a final evaluation report.
  • Participating in coordination meetings.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, journalism, or marketing.
  • Proven expertise in behavior-focused and institutional communication campaigns.
  • Experience in the diffusion of Montreal Protocol initiatives.
  • Experience in designing and implementing awareness strategies, brand positioning, and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Familiarity with environmental issues, ozone protection, the refrigeration and air conditioning sector, and climate change, as well as knowledge of marketing, is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and to engage with public and private stakeholders is an asset.
  • Experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) sector, ozone protection, climate change, or other environmental issues is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to design and implement awareness campaigns, develop key messages, and position institutional brands across multiple channels is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder engagement, collaboration with public and private institutions, and working with multidisciplinary teams is an asset.
Qualification Requirements
  • A masters degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or other related subject is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in combination with two qualifying years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the master's degree.
  • At least one verifiable course in marketing and brand positioning is required.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in oral and written Spanish is required.

Languages Preferred: • Any knowledge of other UN language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 8 months
