Overview

The internship provides practical learning at the intersection of digital transformation, enterprise resource planning, and operational support for human rights programmes. The Intern will support the work of the ERP Section by contributing to administrative coordination, data management, and stakeholder communication related to ERP-enabled business processes.

Tasks Summary
  • Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities related to ERP initiatives.
  • Respond to routine requests for information and assistance from internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized filing, tracking systems and support document archiving.
  • Review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness in support of ERP role-mapping and access management processes.
  • Ensure proper classification, filing, and storage of documents and records.
  • Draft routine correspondence and liaise with other sections to gather and consolidate information related to ERP and operational processes.
  • Take minutes during meetings, summarize key decisions and actions, and ensure timely circulation.
  • Support the maintenance of dashboards and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data.
  • Compile information and contribute to the preparation of periodic reports and draft PowerPoint presentations supporting management decision-making.
  • Update and maintain content on the ERPMS intranet page to facilitate knowledge sharing and transparency.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the ERP Section in support of ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Experience Requirements

No prior professional work experience is required for this internship. However, familiarity with data management, process analysis, administrative support, or information systems is considered an asset.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
