Overview

Support engagement with European institutions and stakeholders to strengthen WFP's visibility and influence in Brussels.

Tasks Summary

• Support analytical work through data collection and debriefing on EU events.
• Update, maintain, and expand the stakeholder mapping document.
• Support the organisation and logistics of WFP external events in Brussels.
• Assist with monitoring relevant developments, scheduling meetings, organising visits, and identifying upcoming events.

Qualification Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme (completed at least 2 years and attended classes in the past 12 months) in Political Science, International Development, Economics, Journalism, International Relations, Communications or other relevant field OR currently enrolled in a graduate programme (attended classes in the past 12 months) OR recently graduated (within six months prior to application) from an undergraduate or graduate programme (attended classes in the past 12 months of enrolment).

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency (level C) in English language.

Languages Preferred: Intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second official EU language is an asset.

Contract Duration: Up to 8 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Monthly stipend up to the maximum amount of US$1000 per month depending on the duty station of assignment. Reimbursement of travel ticket for candidates who are nationals of developing countries and are pursuing their studies in their home country.
