Overview

The internship involves supporting project management and resource management processes within the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA). The role focuses on developing and enhancing tools, facilitating data capture, and contributing to financial and portfolio tracking.

Tasks Summary
  • Develop and enhance tools supporting project management processes, integrated with ServiceNow and Corporate Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Facilitate the structured capture of project KPIs and ensure accurate tracking of project deliverables.
  • Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of financial dashboards and portfolio tracking.
  • Monitor resource management data and support financial tracking across selected portfolio segments.
  • Undertake data analysis coupled with action plans to address problem areas.
  • Support in preparing and monitoring Smart sourcing planning and execution.
  • Assist with the creation of regular business intelligence reports using standard tools.
  • Support data preparation from existing sources.
  • Use a visualisation product to design and create data visuals.
  • Select appropriate visualisation techniques.
  • Engage with the target user to prototype and refine specified visualisations.
  • Assist with the compilation of portfolio, programme and project management reports.
  • Maintain programme and project files from supplied actual and forecast data.
Experience Requirements
  • Business intelligence: Assists with the creation of regular business intelligence reports using standard tools.
  • Supports data preparation from existing sources.
  • Data visualisation: Uses a visualisation product, as guided, to design and create data visuals.
  • Selects appropriate visualisation techniques from the options available.
  • Engages with the target user to prototype and refine specified visualisations.
  • Portfolio, programme and project support: Assists with the compilation of portfolio, programme and project management reports.
  • Maintains programme and project files from supplied actual and forecast data.
Qualification Requirements

• You are currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months

Other Details

Languages Required: A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential

Languages Preferred: some knowledge of the other is desirable

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: 1,477.30 Euro (EUR) Monthly
