Azure Cloud Infra Engineer

Overview

Provide technical support for the Parent Portal application, a component of the educational system portfolio, facilitating efficient service delivery to beneficiaries.

Tasks Summary

• Support the technical handover of the Parent Portal infrastructure.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support relating to Parent Portal and integrating services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Perform deployment, configuration, and upgrades of Kubernetes clusters and Azure resources.
• Provide maintenance and monitoring works.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and other related tasks.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and with strong knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with DevOps.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and observability tools.

Qualification Requirements

• University degree from accredited educational institution in computer sciences or information technology or other related discipline.
• Computer science, information technology, electrical/computer engineering or other related discipline.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in both Arabic and English are required.

Contract Duration: 12 months

Work Modality: Amman

Remuneration: Monthly remuneration equivalent to A15 Step 1 amounting to JOD 1,080.38 for every fully completed month.
