Data Collection Roster (On-call Enumerators / Field Data Collectors)

Overview

Establish a roster of trained and vetted enumerators/field data collectors to be engaged on an on-call basis for data collection exercises. The role supports program divisions by gathering feedback from beneficiaries to enhance program effectiveness and information management.

Tasks Summary

• Attend required briefing and training sessions.
• Conduct CATI interviews and/or face-to-face interviews, and when applicable support KIIs/FGDs.
• Administer questionnaires accurately and record answers clearly and correctly.
• Collect observational data where required.
• Ensure ethical conduct, including obtaining informed consent and maintaining confidentiality.
• Use digital tools or paper forms as instructed.
• Submit data promptly according to deadlines and instructions.
• Report issues, challenges, or inconsistencies to supervisors.
• Report urgent cases to supervisors for referral.
• Travel when necessary, as defined in the call-off assignment.

Experience Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience performing similar responsibilities (field data collection, surveys, monitoring).
• Experience in data collection methods.
• Experience in building and maintaining key informant networks (asset, depending on assignment).
• Experience using paper questionnaires and forms when conducting interviews (where applicable).
• Experience using computers, mobile phones, and/or tablets for data collection or data entry.
• Experience with Kobo or other data collection software (asset).
