Overview
This position is responsible for the implementation of child protection case management activities for Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) and other vulnerable and at-risk children within the Rohingya refugee response.
Tasks Summary
- Ensure the identification, registration, assessment, referral, and follow-up for children in accordance with their needs and vulnerabilities.
- Provide direct support, alternative care support, and Family tracing and Reunification support.
- Document information using case management tools and forms.
- Support the child/family through the case management process.
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality in line with Data Protection Information Sharing protocols.
- Provide daily updates to the supervisor.
- Prepare regular case management reports.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in Child Protection and Case Management, preferably in Rohingya Response
- Experience working with children and families.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as social work/social sciences, Psychology / Counselling, Education/ Child Development/ Early Childhood Education, Sociology /anthropology/ development studies/law or any other relevant department.
