Overview

The role involves coordinating communication activities for the Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) of the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Kenya, focusing on designing a green and inclusive fashion ecosystem.

Tasks Summary

• Social media management and content creation.
• Developing communication concepts, roadmaps, and materials.
• Providing training workshops and advisory services.
• Maintaining an up-to-date catalogue of communication assets.
• Coordinating photo/video shooting and event production.
• Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for communications.

Experience Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience in communication and media.
• Experience covering training, workshops, or community development projects.
• Experience in coordinating creative teams and working with diverse stakeholders.

Qualification Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (BA/BSC or other) in communication, media or fashion/lifestyle field.
• Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.

Languages Required: • Fluent knowledge of English.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge or local language / another UN language is an asset.
