Overview
The National Project Specialist will support the implementation of the TCP/SAP/4007 project in Niue, focusing on strengthening food and income security through local poultry egg production.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in conducting an initial assessment on poultry egg production.
- Conduct stakeholder consultations to validate interventions and develop an implementation plan.
- Maintain coordination and communication with supervisors and national counterparts.
- Assist in drafting Letters of Agreement and Commercial Contracts.
- Assist with technical specifications for procurement.
- Provide inputs on field activity best practices and lessons learned.
- Provide technical assistance and facilitate training activities.
- Prepare narrative progress reports.
- Perform other relevant duties to support project implementation.
- Prepare a detailed end-of-contract report.
Experience Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience in agriculture or livestock-related work.
Qualification Requirements
University degree in Agriculture, livestock production, Agribusiness, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
