Overview

Consultant to provide technical assistance in learning assessment for the UNESCO-Quellaveco-REIMAGINA Project in Moquegua, Peru. The role aims to strengthen capacities for designing, implementing, and using regional student assessments to improve learning outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to DREMO specialists on the theoretical and methodological foundation of the Regional Student Assessment (ERE).
  • Prepare and validate a methodology for analyzing ERE test items.
  • Drive the incorporation of Reimagina Program recommendations into the ERE Moquegua 2026.
  • Advise the DREMO team on developing and validating regional pedagogical guidelines and methodological guides for using ERE and ENLA results.
  • Strengthen the capacities of Reimagina Change Advisors in analyzing, interpreting, and pedagogically applying ERE results.
  • Accompany Change Advisors in implementing strategies for the pedagogical use of ERE and ENLA results in educational institutions.
  • Develop capacities in directors and teachers for the pedagogical use of ERE and ENLA results.
  • Participate in academic activities, presentations, and similar events when required.
Required Experience
  • General professional experience of no less than 8 years.
  • 3 or more years of experience in projects and/or programs related to Learning Assessment, Educational Measurement and Evaluation in public or private institutions.
  • Experience in 3 or more projects in international organizations, NGOs, civil society institutions, or bilateral partners related to Learning Assessment and Standardized Evaluations (desirable).
  • 2 or more years of experience working with educational institutions, UGEL, DRE, or Ministry of Education in capacity building, curriculum, evaluation, learning measurement, formative feedback of results, design of training programs, and learning assessment.
Qualifications
  • Licentiate with a university degree in Education, Social and Human Sciences, Economics, or related areas.
  • Master's degree in Education or Psychopedagogy with a specialization in curricular processes (desirable).
