Overview
The Associate Investment Officer will support the Clients & Products – Structured Products team by innovating new products and executing complex investments. The role focuses on designing, structuring, and executing capital markets and risk transfer solutions for emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Help develop innovative and appropriate financial structures for assigned projects.
- Participate in transaction negotiations.
- Help develop a strong pipeline of investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance social development impact.
- Review company information and prepare analysis and reports.
- Create, analyze and assess complex financial analysis and pricing/valuation models.
- Collaborate to help develop global and regional strategies.
- Coordinate with colleagues to add value to clients' businesses.
- Assist with various projects, tasks or assignments.
- Prepare documentation for IFC internal processes.
- Monitor the performance of underlying assets and recommend portfolio management actions.
- Contribute to the research and knowledge management agenda.
Required Experience
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in emerging markets investment roles, including exposure to debt and structured products.
Qualifications
Master's degree in finance, economics or other related areas. Candidates with an MBA, CPA or CFA designation would have an advantage.
