Overview

Support the implementation of a Monitoring and Evaluation system and a Communication and Visibility Plan for the CONVERGEFOOD project, gathering content for communication materials and assisting with media coverage.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system, using clear indicators aligned with the Theory of Change and Results Framework.
  • Contribute to the preparation and rollout mid-term, and endline assessments.
  • Support regular field monitoring missions to assess implementation and gather qualitative feedback.
  • Use digital tools to support visualization of real-time progress and inform adaptive management.
  • Contribute to the preparation of analytical reports.
  • Support the documentation of best practices, case studies, innovations, and lessons learned.
  • Assist in knowledge-sharing activities with UN partners and government institutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of a Communication and Visibility Plan.
  • Assist in gathering content for high-quality communication materials.
  • Support media coverage, project launches, field missions, donor visits, and workshops.
Required Experience
  • At least 4 years of professional experience supporting communication, monitoring & evaluation or knowledge management.
  • Experience in the field of food systems, agriculture, value chains, SMEs, climate resilience, or related sectors.
  • Experience collecting programme data, conducting basic qualitative and quantitative analysis, and preparing field reports.
  • Experience working with corporate systems (databases, software).
  • Experience in supporting the production of high-quality written and visual knowledge products and communication materials.
  • Experience working in a demanding operational environment.
Qualifications
  • Completion of secondary school education.
  • A post‑secondary certificate in Development Studies, Agriculture, M&E, Knowledge Management, Communication, Social Sciences, or relevant fields.

Fluency (level C) in French and English language (written and oral)
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of local languages in project regions is an asset.
