Overview
Oversee and support the day-to-day implementation of health interventions in assigned Primary Health Care Centers, ensuring delivery of high-quality, integrated, and equitable primary health care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily implementation of PHCC health activities and ensure adherence to MoH and SCI protocols.
- Support provision of quality services in maternal, newborn, child health, and communicable disease management.
- Ensure the integration of nutrition, MHPSS, and health promotion components.
- Monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) practices, triage, and rational drug use.
- Ensure appropriate referral pathways and coordination with secondary-level facilities.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of service data.
- Support data entry into DHIS2/Kobo and contribute to monthly health statistics and analysis.
- Identify gaps, trends, and challenges, and provide recommendations.
- Contribute donor and internal reports, success stories, and case studies.
- Identify PHCC supply needs and coordinate with logistics.
- Monitor consumption and storage conditions of medicines and medical supplies.
- Support adherence to proper waste management procedures.
- Maintain regular communication and coordination with MoH, Health Cluster, and partner organizations.
- Represent SCI in local coordination meetings when delegated.
- Promote joint supervision and collaboration with MoH PHCC management.
- Identify staff capacity gaps and support implementation of on-the-job training and refresher sessions.
- Coach PHCC staff on updated MoH protocols, patient safety, and service quality improvement.
- Support community outreach and awareness activities.
- Facilitate community feedback and ensure compliance with SCI’s Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) standards.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in primary health care or humanitarian health programming.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a related health field.
