Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving assigned vehicles and managing their daily maintenance to ensure they are in good working order.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicle(s) for the IOM office.
- Manage daily maintenance of assigned vehicle(s) including checking tires, brakes, engine oil, fan belt, etc.
- Organize minor repairs and ensure vehicles are kept clean.
- Ensure vehicles undergo regular service intervals.
- Maintain a spare parts log for vehicle(s) and conduct monthly spare parts inventory.
- Find the most direct and safest route on the best available roads.
- Ensure IOM vehicle(s) are used only for official/authorized purposes.
- Prepare daily log sheets and a monthly report summarizing mileage and fuel consumption.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Take appropriate measures to reduce potential threats to security.
- Meet official personnel at the airport and facilitate immigration and customs formalities.
- Collect and deliver mail, documents, and other communications/items.
- Assist national office staff with simple office tasks if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience or a license from an accredited institution.
Qualifications
- High School Degree/Certificate.
- Valid national driving license.
