Overview

Develop and operationalize a private sector engagement strategy to mobilize influence and resources for UNICEF’s Healthy Environments for Healthy Children programme.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the global engagement strategy with key industry sectors.
  • Mobilize influence and resources.
  • Drive industry-wide changes in practices that address, prevent and reduce environmental risks to children.
  • Secure high-value, multi-year partnerships for the HEHC programme.
  • Conduct analysis and strategy development.
  • Undertake strategic convening and engagement.
  • Focus on partnership development and resource mobilization.
Required Experience
  • 10+ years in partnerships, corporate sustainability or ESG consulting.
  • Progressively responsible experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ESG consulting, or Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships.
  • Ability to articulate the "Business Case" for child rights (ROI, risk mitigation, talent retention).
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous research, analyze complex data, and synthesize information into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience working on standards setting with industry associations.
  • Previous experience of working with UNICEF and the UN is desirable.
Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Sustainability or a Master’s Degree with significant relevant experience.
