Overview
Develop and operationalize a private sector engagement strategy to mobilize influence and resources for UNICEF’s Healthy Environments for Healthy Children programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the global engagement strategy with key industry sectors.
- Mobilize influence and resources.
- Drive industry-wide changes in practices that address, prevent and reduce environmental risks to children.
- Secure high-value, multi-year partnerships for the HEHC programme.
- Conduct analysis and strategy development.
- Undertake strategic convening and engagement.
- Focus on partnership development and resource mobilization.
Required Experience
- 10+ years in partnerships, corporate sustainability or ESG consulting.
- Progressively responsible experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ESG consulting, or Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships.
- Ability to articulate the "Business Case" for child rights (ROI, risk mitigation, talent retention).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous research, analyze complex data, and synthesize information into clear, actionable guidance.
- Demonstrated experience working on standards setting with industry associations.
- Previous experience of working with UNICEF and the UN is desirable.
Qualifications
• Master's or Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Sustainability or a Master’s Degree with significant relevant experience.
