Overview
The Associate Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of core technology systems including Linux operating systems, and security while contributing to FinOps optimization for cost efficiency. The role leverages AI, applies automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance, delivering resilient, secure, and cost-effective IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply automation and AI engineering expertise to design and implement intelligent workflows and AI agents that drive efficiency and automate IT operations and service delivery across on‑premises infrastructure and AWS, Azure, and OCI environments.
- Develop, maintain and improve AI agents to interact with enterprise systems using modern technologies such as AWS Bedrock, Open AI Agentic SDK, Model Context Protocol (MCP), LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, and API‑driven agent orchestration frameworks.
- Use Python and at least one additional language (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) to develop automation pipelines, APIs/integrations, and validation tests for platform operations.
- Support the PagerDuty Rundeck infrastructure lifecycle – provision, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot and provide user support.
- Support the Chef Configuration Management infrastructure lifecycle – provision, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot and provide user support.
- Develop, maintain and improve Azure DevOps pipelines.
Required Experience
Master's degree with 5 years of experience or bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
