Overview

Experienced and motivated Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the AGREE Malawi – Agroforestry for Resilient Management and Ecosystem Balance for Malawi Project, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation, compliance with donor requirements, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of the AGREE Malawi project.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality implementation of project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements.
  • Monitor results effectively.
  • Ensure efficient use of project resources.
  • Strengthen collaboration with District government departments, community structures, consortium partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise two Project Facilitators.
  • Contribute to strengthening programme quality, learning, and accountability.
  • Work outside the normal role profile and adjust working hours in the event of a major humanitarian emergency.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience managing agriculture, agroforestry, or livelihoods-related projects targeting smallholder farmers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing donor-funded projects, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and results-based programme implementation.
  • Experience working with district government counterparts and community structures.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, Community Development, Rural Development, Development Studies, or a related field.
