Overview
Experienced and motivated Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the AGREE Malawi – Agroforestry for Resilient Management and Ecosystem Balance for Malawi Project, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation, compliance with donor requirements, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the AGREE Malawi project.
- Ensure timely and high-quality implementation of project activities.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements.
- Monitor results effectively.
- Ensure efficient use of project resources.
- Strengthen collaboration with District government departments, community structures, consortium partners, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise two Project Facilitators.
- Contribute to strengthening programme quality, learning, and accountability.
- Work outside the normal role profile and adjust working hours in the event of a major humanitarian emergency.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience managing agriculture, agroforestry, or livelihoods-related projects targeting smallholder farmers.
- Demonstrated experience managing donor-funded projects, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and results-based programme implementation.
- Experience working with district government counterparts and community structures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, Community Development, Rural Development, Development Studies, or a related field.
