Overview
The Capacity Building Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening the technical competencies of stakeholders engaged in Mine Action in Ukraine, focusing on knowledge transfer and capacity development.
Key Responsibilities
- Document training practices, approaches, tools, and best practices and coordinate with other iMMAP Inc. projects to ensure internal dissemination of training materials;
- Coordinate the maintenance and further development of a platform to store all training materials and tools;
- Facilitate training curriculum design and regularly update capacity strengthening work plan;
- Follow up with partners to identify training needs and conduct follow-up and mentoring visits to organizations requiring additional support;
- Define training goals, objectives, TORs, and agenda;
- Follow up on training evaluations and report on feedback areas of improvement;
- Research, identify, or support the development of new information management tools to address mine action needs;
- Support the design and development of mine action solutions and end products;
- Facilitate staff's ability to use existing and emerging technology to achieve the organization's mission and objectives;
- Coordinate with different technical working groups and mechanism partners to determine their MA capacity and needs;
- Follow up with Ukraine projects staff to identify the required training to improve project performance;
- Any other duties as required.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in emergency response or humanitarian environment;
- Sound knowledge of humanitarian standards and codes;
- Experience with Capacity Building coordination.
Qualifications
• First-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in information management and Mine Action or related field;
