Overview

The Project Associate (Communication, Reporting & Documentation) will support the Project Manager in developing and implementing a comprehensive communication, reporting, and documentation strategy to advance the project's objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a communications strategy for the Land Data Digitalization Project.
  • Develop and disseminate communication materials such as policy briefs, fact sheets, infographics, case studies, and lessons learned reports.
  • Coordinate with Government counterparts to promote project visibility.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all project activities, best practices, case studies, and lessons learned.
  • Maintain a digital repository of project documents, reports, photos, and videos.
  • Prepare periodic reports for stakeholders and contribute to advocacy documents.
  • Generate content for digital platforms and manage project-related updates.
  • Support the creation of visual content and promote project success through media engagement.
  • Facilitate communication channels between the project team, government, and beneficiaries.
  • Support capacity-building initiatives for communication and documentation skills.
  • Identify and document best practices for South-South cooperation.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and learning exchanges.
  • Prepare communication materials for international audiences and South-South cooperation platforms.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge exchange mechanisms with other UNDP and UN offices and projects.
  • Participate in relevant UNDP Global Policy Networks and UN communities of practice.
  • Synthesize lessons and integrate them into communication and documentation strategies.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of practical experience (with secondary education) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) in digitalization of public services, strategic communication/partnership, outreach, documentation and knowledge management and program management within the development sector.
  • Experience in operating MS Office Package and proven knowledge on reporting, produce high quality communication products.
  • Proven experience and lead to comprehensive documentation of all project activities, best practices, case studies, and lessons learned through meticulously prepared reports and knowledge products.
  • Demonstrated experience to organize and centralized digital repository of all project documents, detailed field reports, high-quality photos, videos, and knowledge materials.
  • Experiences and skills to establish and maintain systematic knowledge exchange mechanisms with other UNDP and UN offices and projects, both nationally for effective knowledge management.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and visual tools, content creation for digital platforms, strong photography/videography skills, website and social media management, storytelling and report writing, translation (English-Bangla), event documentation, and attention to detail (desired).
  • Demonstrate experience with a previous working experience in digitization projects (desired).
  • Experience in high quality reporting and documentation and sharing with diverse audience (desired).
  • Working experience with multidisciplinary teams, INGO’s or NGO, UN, media (desired).
Qualifications
  • Secondary Education completed is required.
  • A university degree (bachelor´s degree) in Social Science, Communication, Development Studies, Business Administration, International Development or a closely relevant academic discipline will be given due consideration but is not a requirement.
