Overview
The Senior Contract Management Officer (Goods and Services) is responsible for managing the contract lifecycle for the INFRAIGSS program, ensuring compliance with UNOPS policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement planning, contract management, and contracting strategies for goods and services.
- Manage goods and services contracts to ensure compliance with UNOPS standards.
- Manage contract execution.
- Manage contractual and vendor risks.
- Manage and develop vendor relationships.
- Manage team (when required).
- Generate and share knowledge.
Required Experience
- 4 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in contract management of goods and services.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing reports for donors and partners.
- Proven experience in computer handling and office software packages, such as documents, databases, spreadsheets (Google Suite or MS Office).
- Experience working with transactional and procurement projects (desirable).
- Experience working and/or supervising multidisciplinary teams (desirable).
- Previous experience working in Latin America (desirable).
Qualifications
- Required: University degree at the bachelor's level, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, Commerce, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
- Desirable: Postgraduate degree or equivalent Master's degree in the above-mentioned areas.
