Overview

The HR Associate supports the deployment of regional HR strategies through data analysis, process improvement, and HR initiative implementation. The role identifies bottlenecks and provides operational support to the regional HR team and field offices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update regional HR data and datasets.
  • Analyse HR KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and bottlenecks.
  • Support the development and maintenance of HR dashboards and reports.
  • Contribute to the implementation of regional HR initiatives.
  • Review and map HR processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR projects and system improvements.
  • Provide surge support to the regional HR team and field offices.
  • Assist in key stages of the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate with the Shared Services Centre on personnel administration matters.
  • Manage administrative aspects of regional retainer contracts.
  • Act as HR focal point for retainer personnel.
  • Coordinate and track payment processes for retainer personnel.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to personnel in the regional office.
  • Support the communication and clarification of HR policies, processes, and initiatives.
  • Assist in addressing HR-related queries and requests.
  • Contribute to the sharing of HR knowledge, tools, and good practices.
Required Experience
  • Required Relevant experience in Human Resources Management (HRM), including exposure to data analysis and/or process improvement. Experience using collaboration and productivity tools (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace) and web-based management systems.
  • Desired Experience supporting HR projects or initiatives (e.g. HRIS implementation, process improvements). Experience working in multicultural environments or within international or development organizations. Experience supporting coordination of HR processes across multiple teams, offices, or locations is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Required Secondary school (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Desired Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Relevant certifications in Human Resources, data analytics, information systems, or related fields are an asset.
