Overview
Lead programme planning and execution at Area Development Programmes (ADP), build relationships with local stakeholders, and ensure staff team accountability and effectiveness to enhance children’s well-being and lead to sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning, including disaster management and local level advocacy initiatives.
- Develop and implement plans for understanding area programme operations and child sponsorship in communities.
- Oversee child selection and ensure sponsorship is integrated into programmes.
- Manage programme execution, including adapting technical programmes, developing implementation plans and budgets, and producing reports.
- Ensure effective monitoring systems and manage ADP data.
- Build collaborative working relationships with Technical Programme teams and CESP team.
- Develop a sustainability plan for WV India programs.
- Ensure WV’s core values are reflected in relationship building and explore opportunities for raising local resources.
- Provide leadership to the ADP, ensuring competent and motivated local staff are hired and retained.
- Support professional and personal development of ADP staff.
Required Experience
- 5 years in Development Work
- Handling work with minimum man power and lesser turnaround time
Qualifications
• Master of Social Work or any other PG
