Overview

Support the design, analytical coordination, and drafting of the Morocco 2025 Country Analysis (CA), covering socio-economic situation, development objectives, and future cooperation frameworks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce a methodological note for the CA.
  • Coordinate and support the horizon scanning exercise and report.
  • Develop a draft outline of the country analysis.
  • Facilitate workshops with UN agencies.
  • Prepare the first draft of the Country Analysis.
  • Integrate final comments and prepare the second version.
  • Present the second version at a validation workshop.
  • Produce the final version of the CA and dissemination materials.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in strategic economic analysis, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and analytical writing.
  • Solid understanding of macro- and micro-economic issues.
  • Proven knowledge of the Moroccan context.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Morocco’s socio-political - economic context.
  • Working experience with Academia, International Organizations; Government and related institutions is desirable.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and thematic sessions is desirable.
  • Experience in data visualization and synthesis is desirable.
  • Experience in, or familiarity with, foresight and horizon-scanning methodologies is desirable.
Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social sciences, development, economics, or a related field is required.

• Good command of Arabic is desirable.
